We aim to be the top university in Tohoku region that creates vitality that will attract people. SHOKEI Marché (Regional collaborative event) Key Challenges Ideal Image Major Measures to Achieve Goals 3-1 Promotion of collaboration and exchanges with local communities Collaborative projects are conducted to develop communities and people in the various regions, including the regions affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake, and students and local communities are learning together and inspiring each other. Expand classes related to practical activities in local communitiesi.e. lectures by community leaders In collaboration with local governments, provide students and residents with opportunities to consider local challenges and learn togetheri.e. SHOKEI Marché PR activities have been enhanced both within the University (students, faculty and staff) and externally (parents and guardians, businesses, local communities), expanding awareness of the University’s initiatives.
