What is GeneSilicon? GeneSilicon® is a DNA chip that brings together our surface treatment technology. Hybridizes the probe DNA on GeneSilicon® with the PCR product. The signal is detected by a dedicated device to determine whether wild type or mutant type. Mutant gene test PCR amplification is performed using DNA extracted from tumor cells, formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded sections (FFPE), etc. Inhibits nonspecific hybridization of blocker DNA to PCR products. GeneSilicon® specifically detects and determines mutant DNA. Chimera gene test Single-strand PCR amplification of the DNA regions of fusion sites and mutation sites using fluorescent-labeled primers. The PCR product is hybridized with the probe DNA of the chimeric, wild-type, and mutant genes on GeneSilicon®. Presence or absence of chimeric genes and mutations is simultaneously detected and determined. Microsatellite gene test Performs PCR amplification of the DNA region to be tested using fluorescent-labeled primers. The PCR product is hybridized with probe DNA of microsatellite genes with different numbers of bases on GeneSilicon®. The signal of the entire probe DNA is detected, and the microsatellite is determined by comparing the tumor specimen with a normal area using dedicated application software. DNA methylation genetic test After bisulfite treatment, PCR amplification of the DNA region to be tested is performed using fluorescent-labeled primers. The presence of methylation is detected and determined by hybridizing the probe DNA on GeneSilicon® with the PCR product.
