Promotion of MHLW Scientific Research As one of the measures to widely disclose information on the research achievements of MHLW scientific research, the Institute is creating a database with overviews (abstracts) of research projects conducted with Health and Labour Sciences Research Grants, etc. and report contents. Promotion of International Cooperation The National Institute of Public Health has four specialized fields and a library registered as designated collaborating research centers by WHO, and conducts investigative research on public health, etc. in collaboration with WHO Headquarters and WHO Western Pacific. Based on requests from international organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO), the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), and various overseas government, the Institute accepts researchers and trainees in the public health area from overseas.
