More Information Support for Degree-Seeking International StudentsSupport for International Students from Partner UniversitiesJapanese Language and Culture Program (for Exchange Students)Academic Support Organizations Support for Student Life in Japan Chubu University supports international students by enhancing our organization and systems so that they can lead fulfilling student lives. A wide variety of support services are available for living independently in Japan and learning Japanese, as well as for classes, extracurricular activities, and well-being.  Support Offices for International Students Students enrolled in undergraduate and graduate courses can contact the Department of Academic Affairs and Student Services, and short-term international exchange students from partner universities can contact the Center for International Affairs. The Center for International Affairs is also in charge of the Japanese Language Program for international graduate students. Department of Academic Affairs and Student Services (for undergraduate/graduate students) International students can receive the same support as Japanese students, such as support for living alone in Japan, classes and extracurricular activities, as well as job hunting in Japan. If you have any problems, first contact the Department of Academic Affairs and Student Services on the 4th and the 5th floors of the Active Plaza. Center for International Affairs (for exchange students from partner universities) The Center for International Affairs is in charge of receiving short-term exchange students from partner universities abroad. We also offer programs for international students and Japanese students to interact with each other. The Center for International Affairs is located on the second floor of the Campus Plaza. Support for Degree-Seeking International Students Support for International Students from Partner Universities Japanese Language Study Japanese Language and Culture Program / Japanese Language Program International students studying at the undergraduate level are required to take 8 credits of Japanese language as a compulsory course. International students who are enrolled in the Graduate School and wish to study Japanese can enroll in the &#8220;Japanese Language Program,&#8221; which is associated with the Japanese Language and Culture Program offered by the Center for International Affairs for short-term international students from partner universities. Conversation Partner Program The Conversation Partner Program provides Japanese students and international students the opportunity to become partners and chat with each other in Japanese. This program is for short-term international students from partner universities and graduate students taking the &#8220;Japanese Language Program.&#8221; Japanese Language and Culture Program (for Exchange Students) Facilities Recommended for International Students Chubu University offers a wide range of facilities to make your student life safe and comfortable.  Student Cafeterias Convenience Store Chubu University has five student cafeterias, two fast food restaurants and three convenience stores. Vending machines are also available throughout the campus.  Center for Sports and Cultural Activities Health Promotion Center In addition to the Center for Sports and Cultural Activities, which includes a swimming pool and training gymnasium, the Health Promotion Center, which includes a Health Service and a Sleep Advisory Room, has been established to contribute to the improvement of the health of students.  Chubu University Miura Memorial Library Chubu University Museum of Ethnology Arts Extracurricular Activities Chubu University has about 30 sports clubs/groups and 30 cultural clubs/groups.
